BERLIN, Md. – Colgate closed the Battle at Rum Pointe with its best finish of the season after tying for third place out of 17 teams competing in this weekend's tournament. 

The Raiders posted an even par 288 for the second consecutive day en route to a 576 composite score, tying Iona for third and finishing one stroke behind Rider for second. Long Island took the top spot after finishing with a 15-under 561 two-day total. 

Robbie Herzig closed the weekend in seventh place out of 100 golfers after boasting a 1-over 73 on Sunday, highlighted by an eagle on the 13th hole, to finish 4-under (140) for the tournament. Herzig's 5-under 67 on Saturday tied the program record for the lowest single round in relation to par. 

Kevin Hollomon's 2-under 70 on Sunday carried him to a tie for 20th. He finished 2-over (146) for the tournament after opening the weekend with a 4-over 76 on Saturday. 

Dugan McCabe tied for 33rd at 5-over (149), while Justin Fedele climbed 37 spots with a 1-under on Sunday to tie for 52nd at 8-over (152) for the tournament.
