HAMILTON — Colgate men's hockey takes on Quinnipiac in the ECAC Hockey Semifinals Friday at 4 p.m. at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, N.Y.
The Raiders are back in Lake Placid for the second-straight season, and Friday's contest is a rematch of last year's semifinal game, which the Bobcats won.

SERIES HISTORY
Colgate and Quinnipiac have faced off 54 times in the series' history. During the regular season, the Raiders and Bobcats split the series. Quinnipiac won the first game in Hamden by a score of 3-2 on Nov. 4. The Raiders knocked off the then No. 1-ranked Bobcats 3-2 at home Jan. 21.
The two teams have met 11 times in the ECAC Hockey playoffs, with Colgate going 5-6 in those contests.

HOW WE GOT HERE
Last weekend, the Raiders swept St. Lawrence in a best-of-three quarterfinal series on the road to advance to the semifinals.
Colgate erased a three-goal deficit, topped off by an overtime game-winner from
Colton Young, to defeat the Saints 4-3 in Game 1 last Friday. The Raiders defeated the Saints 3-2 Saturday after scoring three goals in the first two periods and a 31-save performance from
Carter Gylander.
Quinnipiac swept Yale in its quarterfinal series to advance. The Bobcats defeated the Bulldogs 3-0 in Game 1 and 6-2 in Game 2.

POSTSEASON NUMBERS
Colton Young has tallied four points during the postseason, including a three-point performance in Game 1 of the quarterfinals last weekend. The senior has also logged a +3 rating in those contests.
Nick Anderson and
Daniel Panetta have recorded a point in all three playoff games, while
Matt Verboon has logged a pair of goals and an assist, and
Tommy Bergsland has notched three apples.
In goal, Gylander has logged a .909 save percentage and 2.52 goals against average.

PLAYOFF PICTURE
If the Raiders win, they will play the winner of the other semifinal game between second-seeded Harvard and third-seeded Cornell. The championship game is Saturday at 7:30 p.m.Â
