ITHACA, N.Y. – The Colgate women's tennis team saw its four match win streak come to an end in a 7-0 defeat to Cornell at Reis Tennis Center on Saturday.
Cornell claimed the doubles point with efficient and decisive wins at No. 1, 2 and 3.
Addie Eklund, playing No. 1 singles for the Raiders, battled in a tough first set, ultimately succumbing to Lan Mi, 7-5, 6-0. The Big Red took all six singles matches in straight sets.
UP NEXT
Colgate (5-4) hosts Marist at Drumlins in Syracuse next Saturday, March 12 at 1 p.m. before traveling to Hilton Head, S.C. for its spring break trip, where the Raiders will face South Carolina State on March 15 and George Mason on March 17.
