A message from the AD:
First, please carefully read the updated spectator guidance below.Â
To all our fans, thank you for going through this Covid journey with us. We know it has not been easy to keep track of the changing guidance, and we thank you for your diligence to protect yourself, other fans and all participants at our events. We have worked to provide a safe and accessible experience for everyone throughout this pandemic, while remaining fully in step with other campus events. We will continue to do so, and will post updates to spectator guidance on colgateathletics.com.  Â
As restrictions begin to lift, please continue to use good personal judgment regarding your own health status. If you are not feeling well, stay home, take care of yourself, follow events on ESPN+, and interact with us on Twitter and Instagram. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, please continue to do so.
As we approach the postseason for our winter sports, I encourage you to come on out and watch some incredible feats of athleticism and teamwork produced by your Raider student-athletes and coaches. Never have so many teams been so competitive and so fun to watch in my time here, and each performance seems more inspirational than the last!
Again - thank you. Your presence, energy, and support helps make the Colgate Athletics experience truly remarkable, and we look forward to seeing you in the weeks ahead.
Warm Regards,
Nicki Moore
Vice President and Director of Athletics

Adjusted Spectator Guidance for Indoor Sports
As noted in the Colgate Together Digest, February 14, 2022,Â
"The Task Force on Reopening the Colgate Campus has continued to meet weekly since the start of the spring semester, both with the Health Analytics Team and independently, to assess the current health status of the Colgate community and to discuss when, how, and if we can move from a pandemic response towards a posture of treating SARS-CoV-2 as an endemic pathogen."
The digest went on to note that while the pandemic is not yet over, the high rate of vaccination and booster rate on campus allows Colgate to operate with an understanding that infections "pose low levels of risk to the health of the community." Additionally, late last week, New York State Governor Kathy Hochul lifted the statewide mask-or-vaccine requirement for indoor businesses.Â
Colgate is lifting the current mask mandate on campus, effective Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 8 a.m. While no longer required, guests to Colgate are strongly recommended to wear a mask at indoor events. COVID documentation is still required as follows for admittance to indoor athletic events:
All spectators aged 5 and older will be required to present proof of
full vaccination or a negative test for entry to indoor athletics events. Madison County has declared that
full vaccination includes proof of a booster shot for those 12 years of age and older. Those who do not have proof of full vaccination must present:
- a positive COVID-19 test, dated between 14 and 90 days prior to the start of the event,
- a negative PCR test, taken no earlier than 72 hours prior to the start of the event, or
- a negative antigen test (a verified or time-stamped photo of an at home test will now be accepted), taken no earlier than 24 hours prior to the start of the event.Â
Given the different vaccination/booster rollout dates for various age groups, below is a breakdown of attendee requirements based on the spectator's age:
