HAMILTON – Colgate Athletics has announced upcoming schedules for 14 teams, including seven fall teams, two winter teams, and five spring seasons with fall competitions.
Schedule highlights and championship dates for men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football (announced in December), golf, men's and women's rowing, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis, and volleyball are listed below. Additional winter and spring schedules will be announced in the coming weeks as they become available.

The Raiders open the 2026 season in Hamilton as they host the Harry Lang Invitational on Sept. 5. Colgate will head to Rochester for the Yellowjacket Invitational on Sept. 19 before the Paul Short Invitational on Oct. 2 in Bethlehem, Pa. Following the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Bronx, N.Y. on Oct. 16, the Raiders will compete in the Bucknell meet on Oct. 23 as their final tune-up before the Patriot League Championships.

Field Hockey
2026 Schedule
Under new leadership, the field hockey program is slated to compete in 15 regular-season matches, including nine home games. Colgate opens the 2026 season with four straight home games, hosting New Haven (Aug. 28), Rider (Aug. 30), UAlbany (Sept. 4), and La Salle (Sept. 6). Colgate makes its road debut Sept. 11 at Lock Haven before returning home for back-to-back games against Lafayette (Sept. 18) and Rutgers (Sept. 20).
The back half of the Raiders' season features five road games and three home contests. Colgate resumes action on the road at Lehigh (Sept. 26) before hosting neighboring Cornell on Oct. 4. The Raiders then travel to Washington, D.C., to face American (Oct. 10) and Georgetown (Oct. 11). Colgate returns to Tyler's Field to take on Patriot League opponent Bucknell (Oct. 16) before a pair of road games at Boston U. (Oct. 23) and Stonehill (Oct. 25). The Raiders close the regular season by hosting Holy Cross on Halloween.

Football
2026 Schedule
With season tickets on sale now, Colgate Football is gearing up for a 12-game slate that kicks off Friday, Aug. 28, at Fordham. The home opener follows the next week against Holy Cross, anchoring a five-game home schedule. Marquee dates at Andy Kerr Stadium include the Family Weekend rivalry game against Cornell (Sept. 19) and Homecoming versus Georgetown (Oct. 17), with William & Mary (Oct. 31) and Lafayette (Nov. 14) rounding out the home slate. Road non-conference trips include Central Michigan (Sept. 12) and Harvard (Oct. 3).
Golf
2026 Fall Schedule
Colgate Golf will compete in five fall tournaments, starting with its annual Alex Lagowitz Memorial at Seven Oaks Golf Club Sept. 5-6. The Raiders then hit the road to Annapolis, Md., for the Navy Fall Invitational Sept. 19-20 before returning to Lake Placid for the Autumn Invitational (Oct. 3-4), where Colgate shattered the program's 36-hole record last year (553, -15). The final two tournaments of the fall will take place in Pa., starting with the Bucknell Invitational (Oct. 11-13) and concluding two weeks later at the Lehigh Invitational (Oct. 24-25).
Men's Rowing
2026 Fall Schedule
The men's rowing team is slated to compete in four races this fall. The Raiders open the season at the Navy Day Regatta on Oct. 11 in Philadelphia, Pa. Colgate then travels to the Head of the Charles from Oct. 17-18 before returning to Philadelphia for the Head of the Schuylkill on Oct. 24. The Raiders conclude their fall season Nov. 1 at the Princeton Chase.
Women's Rowing

Women's rowing will compete in two major races this fall. The Raiders open the season at the Head of the Charles in Boston, Mass., from Oct. 17-18. One week later, Colgate returns to the water at the Head of the Fish on Oct. 24.
Men's Soccer
2026 Schedule
Colgate will play 17 regular season matches with nine on home turf. The season begins at Beyer-Small '76 Field as the Raiders host New Hampshire on Aug. 20 before heading to Vermont to take on the 2024 National Champion Catamounts. After returning to Hamilton to host Le Moyne (Aug. 27), Colgate will play three straight road matches against UAlbany (Aug. 30), Binghamton (Sept. 2), and Bryant (Sept. 6). Patriot League play begins Sept. 11 as the Raiders host American before an upstate rivalry match against Syracuse on Sept. 15 at home.
The Raiders will head to Bucknell for their first road conference game of the season on Sept. 19 followed by hosting Lafayette on Sept. 26. Colgate heads into October with a road match against Navy (Oct. 3) before hosting Boston U. (Oct. 9). A final tune-up contest against Cornell will take place on Oct. 13 at home ahead of the final four matches of the season. Colgate takes on Loyola (Oct. 17) and Lehigh (Oct. 30) on the road sandwiching a home game against Holy Cross (Oct. 24). The maroon-and-white close out the regular season hosting Army on Nov. 3.

2026 Schedule
The Raiders will play 18 games this upcoming season with nine taking place at Beyer-Small '76 Field. Colgate begins the season out west with two games in California as they take on Pepperdine on Aug. 13 and Long Beach State on Aug. 16. After returning, they take on Marist Aug. 20 before the home opener against Canisius on Aug. 27, the first of a three-game homestand. Colgate takes on Maine (Aug. 30) and Cornell (Sept. 3) before trips to George Washington (Sept. 6) and Princeton (Sept. 10). The Raiders conclude non-conference play at home against Dartmouth on Sept. 13.
Colgate opens up the Patriot League matches at home against Lafayette on Sept. 19 before heading to Navy (Sept. 26) and Holy Cross (Sept. 30). A Patriot League semi final rematch against Army is set for Oct. 3 at Beyer-Small ahead of a road game against American on Oct. 10. Colgate will compete in five events during the fall semester, including a pair of Patriot League duals at Lineberry Natatorium. The season begins in West Point, N.Y., where the Raiders take on Army, UConn, and Marist Sept. 24, before hosting Marist, UMass, and Le Moyne Oct. 9-10. Patriot League action begins when Lafayette comes to town on Oct. 24, before Colgate visits Marist Nov. 6 and hosts Lehigh one day later on Nov. 7. Colgate's fall slate concludes with the four-day Brown Invitational (Nov. 19-22) in Providence, R.I.
Starting off the new year, Colgate faces Boston U and Fairfield on the road (Jan. 9) before heading back to Massachusetts to face Holy Cross on Jan. 16. The Raiders are home for the first time in 2027 when they host Le Moyne (Jan. 17) and then head back on the road for the Boston Winter Invitational (Feb. 5-6). This year's four-day Patriot League championship will take place in Lewisburg, Pa., hosted by Bucknell Feb. 17-20.

Men's Tennis is set for three invitationals before the Fall Patriot League Tournament in late October. Colgate will head to Navy from Sept. 11-13 for the Navy Invite before hosting the Colgate Invitational Oct. 3-4 in Hamilton. The Raiders' final preparations will be in Cambridge, Mass. for the ITA's at Harvard on Oct. 8-11.

Women's Tennis
2026 Fall Schedule
Women's tennis has an active fall season, competing in three invitationals, three dual matches and the Patriot League Tournament. The Raiders open the season at the Carousel Classic in Binghamton, N.Y., from Sept. 11-13. The team then hosts its only home tournament of the fall, the Colgate Invite, Sept. 26-27. Colgate's final invitational of the season is the ITA Regionals, scheduled for Oct. 8-13.
The Raiders face Skidmore and Iona in a doubleheader dual match on Oct. 17, one week before the ITA Patriot League Masters, which takes place Oct. 23-25. Colgate concludes its fall season with a final dual match against Buffalo on Oct. 30.

Volleyball
2026 Schedule
The Raiders open their 26-match season in Knoxville against Tennessee, Fairfield, and Morehead State (Aug. 28–30) before returning to Cotterell Court for an eight-match homestand. This home stretch features back-to-back tournaments: the first with Arizona State, Villanova, and Princeton (Sept. 3–6), and the second featuring UAlbany, Dartmouth, and Northeastern (Sept. 11–13). Colgate then wraps up the homestand by opening Patriot League play against Navy (Sept. 18) and Loyola (Sept. 19).
Next, the team hits the road for three straight weekends against Army and Holy Cross (Sept. 25–26), Lehigh and Bucknell (Oct. 2–3), and defending league champion American (Oct. 9). The remainder of the schedule mostly alternates locations: the Raiders host Lafayette (Oct. 11) and American (Oct. 17) before visiting Loyola and Navy (Oct. 23–24). Colgate then returns home for a five-match stretch against Binghamton (Oct. 28), Holy Cross (Oct. 31), Army (Nov. 1), Lehigh (Nov. 6), and Bucknell (Nov. 7) before concluding the regular season at Lafayette on Nov. 14.
