FROM THE SOURCE
Head Women's Basketball Coach Ganiyat Adeduntan
"The beginning of the game was the difference maker to me. It's hard to win a game if you come out and play flat. Canisius is a team that plays hard, and they worked us the full 40 minutes. We had spurts where we were probably working a bit harder, but that's not enough to win a game. Our identity starts defensively, and we weren't there today.
"One of our points of emphasis today was to try to attack off the balance and get fouls drawn. Morgan did a great job of that today.
"We will take a few days off for the holiday to regroup, then be ready to play again at Merrimack on Sunday."
