From the Source
39075• Colgate head coach Matt Karweck: (On the game) "I've been coaching a long time, and that's one of the best teams I've seen. I've never watched a more efficient offense. Coach Toomey and his staff are phenomenal coaches and they looked good.

"Their goalie made a few saves at the other end and we took some shots that maybe were out of range. When there's not a lot of opportunity to put the ball in the back of the net, you can't do that. I'm impressed with Loyola, but we're going to continue to get better. We've got Navy coming to our place next Saturday and we've still got a shot to make the Patriot League tournament. We're going to do what we can to put ourselves in position to make the tournament.

(On the schedule) "We've played the top three teams in Lehigh, Army and now Loyola, in addition to Boston University. We know we've got to be top six in the Patriot League – at that point, anything can happen. We learned a lot about ourselves in this game and we saw Pat Spencer and how he dishes the ball. It's impressive.

"We're going to go back to work this week and get better, and then we've got a good Navy team coming to town."
