Thoughts on the season
"I'm extremely proud of the team, especially the four seniors. The leadership, dedication and commitment they had to the program and Colgate, as well as buying into everything we wanted to do from a coaching staff standpoint, was what got us here. It got us the four-seed, the home playoff game and those were goals of ours.
"Although the loss stings and we may not have played our best with BU playing at the top of their game, the success we had is not taken away from this season because of today's loss."
Thoughts on the top performances
"Chelsea and Mads were phenomenal on defense and Ingrid did really well on one of the top players in the NCAA by really holding her out. Sam came up huge with some great stops as well in goal. Defensively, time and time again, they've come away playing really consistent and did the same thing today."
Thoughts on the senior class
"The groundwork the four seniors cultivated and laid for us this season already starts rolling into next season. We talked about them leaving a legacy and the four of them left a lasting mark on this program to keep holding us to greater heights. I couldn't be more thankful for their dedication and commitment they had for the program."
