PRINCETON, N.J. – Tina Bowers (West Reading, Pennsylvania) broke her program record for the second consecutive week and
Watson Hanson (Radnor, Pennsylvania) qualified for the IC4A Meet as the Colgate men's and women's track and field teams had an impressive showing at the Larry Ellis Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
One week on best her program record by more than 10 seconds, Bowers shattered her record once again by more than 12 seconds with a time of 11:05.18.
On the men's side, Hanson set his own personal record in the 3,000-Meter Steeplechase with a time of 9:21.55 and qualified for the IC4A Race scheduled for May.
Jonathan Abbott (Manlius, New York) and
Colin Loughlin (Hingham, Massachusetts) each recorded personal records at the Larry Ellis Invitational, and the Raiders tallied four top-10 finishes.

-Bowers broke her program record in the 3,000-Meter Steeplechase for the third time in the past four meets with a time of 11:05.18

Aidan Kutner (Franklin Lakes, New Jersey) finished the 400-Meter Hurdles in 57.70 seconds
-Men's track and field's 4x100-Meter Relay team (Keontré Hughes,
Abu Daramy-Swaray, Castillo and
Kobi Grant) finished the race in 43.68 seconds while the 4x400-Meter Relay team (Moe, Kutner, Castillo, Loughlin) finished their race in 3:25.03.
