From the Source
• Colgate head coach Mike Murphy: (On the game) "We knew going in that they were a team that liked to start fast. They are a very good caused-turnover team, and we had 12 turnovers in the first half. Give them all the credit, but it never allowed us to play offense the way that we wanted.

33231"We were very tentative offensively because we were thinking about trail-checks. And when thinking about it, you start to slow down. They took full advantage of our inability to play offense the way we are capable of playing.

"Our defense held up fairly well. You just can't play that much defense against a quality opponent like that and expect any other outcome."

(On the faceoff and goalie success) "Orrsie was terrific. We got the faceoff play we needed to tilt the field in our direction, but we were not able to capitalize on those extra possessions. Connor after settling down gave us some goaltending we needed and the goaltending we are going to need moving forward."
