FROM THE SOURCE33192
Head Coach Heather Young
On Colgate's half time adjustements
"We were playing well defensively in the first half but offensively we were creating too many turnovers. So at halftime we talked about cleaning that up and continuing to get good opportunities. That was the biggest thing we were looking to change in the second half."

On Beating BU
"It's always a good game against BU. Before the game, we spoke about our foundation and how well we have been doing this year. We were really ready for the Terriers to come out and be the well-coached and aggressive team they are. I'm really proud of the team for rising to the occasion and get ready to for Bucknell on Saturday."

On Sam Croston's performance
"Sam stood on her head today, she was phenomenal. Kudos goes to the entire defense in front of her. Ingrid and Chelsea did a great job on their matchups. Mads came up huge and Haley had some great caused turnovers in crucial moments. She's got a really great core in front of her and they're giving her the shots we want her to see."

On Colgate's Offense33193
"We set up our offense so that if you're in the spot where the drive is coming from, it's your take so we expect everyone to be going to cage. It's phenomenal when you have two of your senior leaders get hat tricks and a freshman follow suit with them. I'm just really happy with them creating that ball movement but having the confidence to continue going to cage."

Senior captain Haley O'Hanlon
On Second Half Adjustments
"We definitely came together in the second half. We knew that, offensively, we weren't connecting as much and we knew we needed to come together. We flipped the switch and were connecting much better. We played the way we should have the whole game.

On Colgate's Offense This Season
"This year has been awesome having all seven players on the offensive side being a threat so that opens up a little space for myself and everyone else. Having that makes it so much easier on anyone who has the ball on their stick at that moment.

On Getting Ready for Bucknell33195
"This wins puts us in a great spot. We have two days to prepare and we're going to ride off the energy from this win and keep it going. We hope to come out with another W on Saturday, continue to build our energy and get better each game."

Sophomore goalkeeper Samantha Croston
On the Team
"I have to credit so much of my performance to the defense and the energy of the entire team. The defense has been doing such a good job making sure that I'm getting the easiest shots possible. We have a lot of energy on the field this year and that's been carried throughout the team."

On Colgate's Second Half
"Going into the second half, there were a lot of good things going on but we were a little frustrated. Everyone turned it around in the second half. That's the best thing about this year, whenever anything goes wrong we always know how to fix it and no one gets mental about it. We all just come in together and make sure everyone is on the same page."
