Raiders Drop Series Finale at Boston University

BU Rides Early Lead to 6-0 Win

BOSTON – The Colgate bats couldn't get going Sunday as Boston University claimed a 6-0 win in the series finale of a three-game weekend set.

The Terriers put Colgate in a quick 4-0 hole in the bottom of the first inning as BU used three hits and three walks to plate four runs. The Raiders scattered five hits through the first four frames, but weren't able to get any run production.

Junior pitcher Kyle Griswold came on in relief in the first inning and kept the Terriers off the board for the next two frames. BU then added on two runs on an RBI single in the fourth to stretch its lead to 6-0.
