LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Colgate women's lacrosse team scored eight goals in the second half but Bucknell scored the game-winning goal with 23 seconds left in regulation as the Bison edged the Raiders, 12-11, at Graham Field.
Attack
Isabel Kreitler (Fairfield, Connecticut) recorded four goals Saturday afternoon, her third consecutive game with at least four goals and sixth time this season. Kreitler led the Raiders in goals scored for the fourth consecutive game with her four-goal lead.
Colgate trailed 11-6 with 6:48 to play in the second half before netting five goals to tie the game with just 49 seconds left.
Haley O'Hanlon (Garden City, New York) netted her second goal of the game before Kreitler scored back-to-back goals to bring the Raiders within two goals.
Just 13 seconds after Kreitler's fourth goal of the game,
Charlotte Redican (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) netted her second goal of the game to bring the Raiders within one. With 49 seconds left, Bucknell threw the ball into their own goal as the game-tying goal but Morgan Steinhacker scored the game-winning goal for the Bison with 23 seconds left, just 26 seconds after Bucknell's game-tying, own goal.
O'Hanlon and Redican each scored a pair of goals in the loss for the Raiders while
Noelle Patterson (Vestal, New York) and
Kristen Brigagliano (Brightwaters, New York) each added goals.
The Raiders staked themselves out to a 3-1 lead with 20:40 left in the first half as they netted three goals in a span of 3:14. Brigagliano scored the Raiders first goal of the game followed by a man-up goal from O'Hanlon with 21:40 left in the first half. Just one minute later, Kreitler gave the Raiders their 3-1 lead with her first of four goals in the game.
Bucknell score six consecutive goals to close out the first half, claiming a 7-3 halftime lead.
Colgate scored three of the first four goals in the first half to pull within two goals but Bucknell reclaimed a five-goal lead before the Raiders furious comeback late in the second half.

The Bison won their third consecutive game to improve to 9-4 (4-2 Patriot League) while the Raiders dropped their fifth consecutive game to fall to 4-8 (1-5 Patriot League).
