Straight From The Source
• Colgate head coach Melissa Finley: (on her thoughts from the day) "We saw some great offensive production today and had a lot of quality at bats. We had some clutch hitting from Mariel Schlaefer and Marisa Dowling today and a lot of others chipped in as well. Katie Bushee did a great job of getting on base so we could make things happen and Kate Zucker also had a great day at the plate. It was good to see us score early and then continue to press for more."

"Defensively we had a very clean day behind Brigiit (Ieuter's) shutout performance and won the little battles throughout the game."

"Overall it was a great team win but we don't get much rest. We know we have to show up ready for another battle tomorrow."
