Best Games: Became the first Colgate softball player to earn All-ECAC accolades in 15 years (Melissa Rawson and Dorothy Donaldson in 2003)… team leader in batting average (.326), slugging percentage (.481), hits (42), RBI (25) and home runs (4)…hit .393 in Patriot League play, a mark that tied for third-best amongst all league players… tallied 13 multi-hit games and five multiple-RBI contests…went 2-for-4 with 4 RBI and a home run against nationally-ranked Long Beach State (March 17)…knocked in three runs at Lafayette (April 15).

Before Colgate
Was a four-year letterwinner from Leland High and was the two-time MVP of the League during her junior and season campaigns ... She had a .466 batting average during her senior year and was voted team captain during her last two seasons ... Geranen was also named the 2013 Cal high Sports Bay Area Softball Player of the Year, while her team won the Mt. Hamilton League championship in 2013 ... She played with the San Jose Sting throughout her time in high school as well ... Geranen also participated in volleyball and golf during her time in school.
