Colgate Faces PL foe Bucknell Saturday

Senior Lindsay McCulloch Recorded her First Career Defensive Save During Colgate's Contest at Bucknell Saturday

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Kiersten Sydnor and Abby Watson tallied two goals each to lead Bucknell to a 6-0 victory over Colgate in Patriot League Field Hockey Action Saturday at Graham Field.

- Bucknell improved to 4-6 on the season and remained undefeated in Patriot League play as it moved to 2-0.

Turning Point
- Holding a 2-0 lead late in the first half, Bucknell scored four goals over a 6:17 span to take control of the contest.
- Watson notched her second goal of the opening frame at the 32:50 mark to ignite the outburst and give the Bison a 3-0 lead at halftime.  
- Bucknell carried its momentum into the second half as notched three goals in a 1:54 stretch, capped by back-to-back strikes from Sydnor, to close out the scoring.
 
Key Raider Info
- Sophomore Maria Krull started the game in goal for the Raiders and finished with seven saves.
- Newcomer Jacqueline Li replaced Krull in the 41st minute. She recorded one save.
- Three players – junior Whitney Jones and sophomores Cady Kopsky and Caroline Schaefter – tallied one shot each for the Raiders.
- Senior Lindsay McCulloch was credited with her first career defensive save during the contest. She is the fourth different Colgate player to record a defensive save in 2015.
