CAMBRDIGE, Mass.  – Colgate women's soccer continued its unbeaten streak Sunday after earning a 1-0 victory over Ivy League foe, Harvard.

The Raiders saw first year
Eliza Doll net the game-winner adding to her already impressive rookie campaign. Colgate hasn't dropped a contest since its season opener at then No. 19 ranked Boston College on Aug. 22.

Doll's first career marker came in the 74th minute after a brilliant play. The Bethesda, Maryland, native pulled the ball down from the air, beat a Harvard defender and riffled a shot from just outside the box into the lower right-hand corner of the goal.

The Raider defense held strong throughout the remaining 15 minutes, securing them their fifth shutout of the year, third in a row.

Colgate heads into league play next weekend on a tear riding a six-game unbeaten and four-game winning streak. The Raiders travel to Lafayette on Saturday to face the Leopards at 7 p.m.

Golden Goal• The Raiders broke through the scoreless deadlock in the 74th minute when Doll placed one past the arms of Harvard's keeper, Cheta Emba.
- Colgate played the ball around its offensive half before Doll collected it about 25-yards out from net. She beat a Crimson defender and struck a hard-driven shot toward the right side of the goal. The ball found the corner of the net, lifting Colgate to the 1-0 edge.

First-Years Making an Impact• Colgate is currently being led by rookie
Emily Crichlow in season goals and points. The first-year has a team-high three goals for her six points.
• Doll is also having an outstanding freshman season sitting tied for leading the team with two assists on the year. After today's goal she also shifted her season points total to four, which ties her for second.
• Both first-years have started and seen numerous minutes in all of the Raiders seven games so far this season.

Harvard-Colgate Series• With the victory Colgate cut in half the Crimson overall series advantage, which was at 2-0 prior to the match.
