How It Happened

- Lehigh controlled play early in the second half with 15 of the first 16 shots of the frame, but it was Colgate who scored first in the frame. Brash found the goal for the second time in the contest as she ripped a shot from the top of the circle past the keeper in the 60th minute to put the Raiders in front, 2-0.
- Lehigh got on the board with less than three minutes remaining as Gabby Tofig deflected home a shot from the stick of Kassidy Green at the 67:11 mark for her first goal of the season.
- The Mountain Hawks had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but a shot from Lindsey Schott with less than two seconds remaining was blocked, preserving the Raiders one-goal lead.

Quotable
Head Coach Cathy Foto (on today's game)
"
It was a hard-fought battle and a game of spurts. We started off very intense and had some great chances early. We could not get one on the board until Brash poked one in during a flurry late in the half. Lehigh came out strong to start the second half and we were on our heels at times. Amanda played great in goal again today and gave us the time we needed to get a second goal. Despite the challenges in the second half I was proud of how hard we competed for 70 minutes."

Up Next
- Colgate continues a four-game road swing Oct. 10 with a 4 p.m. contest at non-conference foe Rider.
