Bottom Line
Army 3, Colgate 1

Won-Lost Records
- Army improved to 7-5 in Patriot League play and 12-13 overall as it won for the fourth time in its last five matches.
- Colgate slipped to 7-4 in league action and 13-8 on the season as it saw its five-match winning streak come to a close.

How It Happened
- Army captured a back-and-forth first set that featured a total of 10 ties and three lead changes, 25-23. With the score tied at 23-all, a kill by Vanessa Wesley and a Raider attack error gave the Black Knights the two-point victory.
- Colgate rallied to even the match with a 25-18 victory in the second set. Scoring five of the first six points of the set, Army held a 15-12 lead midway through the frame, only to see the Raiders rattle off 13 of the final 16 points of the set to square the match at 1-1.
- Army bounced back for a 25-22 victory in the third set, using an 11-5 run during the middle portion of the frame to erase a 15-11 deficit and take a 23-20 lead. The two sides traded points until a ball-handling error gave the Black Knights the set and a 2-1 lead.
The fourth set was another tight affair as it took 10 ties and three lead changes to determine a winner. Tied at 23-all, back-to-back kills by Bockrath broke the deadlock and gave the Black Knights their second 25-23 decision of the evening and the match.
