How It Happened
- After dropping the first set, 25-20, Colgate rallied for a 26-24 victory in the second set. Bucknell raced out to a 9-3 lead early in the second frame and held a 23-19 lead when a service error sparked the Raiders to a 7-1 spurt that closed out the frame and evened the match at 1-all.
- Colgate jumped out to a 16-10 lead midway through in the third set, but Bucknell kept it close. The Bison pulled within one, 24-23, on a Raider ball-handling error but a kill by junior Katie Fauntleroy gave Colgate a 25-23 decision and a 2-1 lead.
- The fourth set saw the Bison race out to an 11-5 lead, only to the Raiders battle back. A Harris spike on the next point brought the Bucknell run to a close and sparked a 19-5 spurt that closed out the set and handed the Raiders a 25-16 decision and the match.

Colgate Head Coach Ryan Baker

"It's been a long road trip, yet we continued to get better with each match.  We have a lot of depth on this team and it was showcased the entire weekend.  This Bucknell win was a total team effort."

(On second set)
"The match flipped with our win in the second set. (Katie) Fauntleroy and (Katie) Stebbins provided the spark we needed at that point.  We still have a lot work to do, but we will enjoy some much needed time off first."
