Before Colgate

Ryan Hilliard joined the Colgate Women's Soccer staff before the start of 2023 season. 

Hilliard, prior to Colgate, spent time as the Director of Coaching for Centre Soccer Association in State College, Penn. While there he was responsible for developing training curriculums, educating coaches and overseeing the day to day operations of the club.  The club strived for a commitment to education and individual player development for all players at various competitive levels. During this time frame, Hilliard was also a part of the East Region ODP Coaching Staff (2017-2020). This staff included other successful college and professional coaches and provided an opportunity to evaluate, coach and develop some of the top youth players from Maine to Virginia.  

He holds a USSF C License and a United Soccer Coaches National Diploma.

A two time graduate of Penn State University, Hilliard earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering in 2013 and a Masters of Engineering in Systems Engineering in 2017.

He and his wife Haley live in Hamilton with their daughter Ellie and black lab Kona.
