Stephanie Hopf

Stephanie Hopf was hired as the Colgate University assistant women's rowing coach in August 2007.
 
Hopf was a four-year member of the University of Massachusetts women’s varsity rowing team from 2002-06. During her time at Amherst, the Minutemen won four Atlantic-10 titles and were nationally-ranked. The team also competed at the Royal Henley Regatta, and Hopf competed at the Canadian Henley and at Nationals in Indiana.
 
A native of Hadley, Mass., Hopf earned a bachelor’s degree in human nutrition in May 2006.
 
She was hired at UMass as a women’s rowing departmental assistant during the 2006-07 academic year. Hopf helped implement basic rowing skills to all newcomers as the assistant novice coach.
 
A member of USRowing, Hopf worked at the NORTHEAST Rowing Camp in the summer of 2006, assisting with on and off the water training.
