Kathy Les is in her fifth season as an assistant coach for the Colgate women's rowing team. She also has served the last two years as assistant for event management and facilities.
Les joined the Raiders from the University of Connecticut, where she was the volunteer assistant coach for the women’s rowing team from 2009-11. Prior to coaching, Les was a four-year member of the Huskies rowing team and a team captain her senior season. She earned the Drive Award three years in a row from 2007-09.
A native of South Windsor, Conn., Les earned her bachelor’s degree in ecology and evolutionary biology and her master’s degree in exercise science both from Connecticut in 2009 and 2011 respectively. She competes as an amateur powerlifter and already owns four first-place finishes.
Les resides in Hamilton with her dog, Darwin.
