Anna Talucci

Anna Talucci was hired as the assistant Colgate University women's crew coach in July 2005.

A 2003 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Talucci was a four-year letterwinner of the varsity crew team. She served as captain for two years, competing in the 8+, 4+, 4x, 2x and 1x. Her boat was named the Women’s Henley College 8 and Atlantic-10 champions in 2003, were two-time ECAC Varsity 8 champions, and were also the recipients of the Evelyn Bergman Trophy at the Dad Vails in 2002 and 2003. As a member of the UMass rowing team, Talucci acted as a liaison between the coaching staff and the team, in addition to serving as a representative on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

Talucci was most recently the assistant women’s rowing coach at Temple University. She acted as an assistant coach for the Wilmington Youth Rowing Association, coaching high school boys in the 8+ and 4+, which went to junior nationals under her guidance. Prior to her position as assistant coach she was the director of the Wilmington Youth Association’s Row for It. Assisting in the supervision of both coaches and campers, she taught the fundamentals of rowing to a group of urban youth. Talucci has also been the head coach of the Navesink River Rowing Club in New Jersey, working with novice, intermediate and advanced youth rowing programs. Her other youth involvement includes working the 2002 NCAA Rowing Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana in he YES (Youth Experiencing Sport) Clinic.
