Season Highlights: Appeared in all 52 games with 51 starts in freshman campaign…led team with seven assists from the outfield…third on the team with 13 multi-hit games…had three hits in a game three times…went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored against Quinnipiac (3/13)…posted a 2-for-3 showing at the plate in win over Syracuse (4/17) with a double and a run scored.
Before Colgate
Johnson set multiple records during her time at Seymour High School, including the school hitting record, runs scored record, and stolen base record, while batting .721 with a .782 on-base clip as a senior captain. A First Team All-State honoree, Johnson earned All-Conference accolades on her way to being named All-Area Most Valuable Player, CHSCA Position Player of the Year, MaxPreps Second Team Small School All-American, and Gatorade Connecticut Player of the Year. Off the field, Johnson received high honors all four years of high school and participated in student council, link crew, and National Honor Society.
