Brody Honeycutt

Honeycutt comes to Hamilton with plenty of experience. He served as a volunteer assistant at his alma mater West Chester University 2016-2018 before taking on a paid assistant role from 2018-2020. During his time with the Golden Rams, Honeycutt was responsible for coaching the horizontal and vertical jumps, hurdles, and assisting with sprint groups. He also coordinated the strength and conditioning of the jumps and hurdles group.

During his time with the program, Honeycutt helped bring a new level of success. He helped coach the women's team to a runner-up finish recently in the 2020 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Indoor Championship, marking the highest finish in the program's history. Along with that, he guided athletes to 31 PSAC qualifying marks, 16 PSAC scoring marks, 4 All-PSAC marks, and 2 NCAA Provisional qualifying marks.

From 2016-2018, Honeycutt also worked with Avon Grove High School, coaching sprints, hurdles and pole vault. 

Honeycutt was also a star on the track during his college days at WCU as a multi-event athlete in the decathlon and heptathlon. He received his bachelor's degree in exercise science with a minor in athletic coaching in 2016 before earning a master's degree in exercise and sport physiology in 2018.

The McSherrystown, Pa. native owns four different USTFCCCA certifications and is currently pursuing master's certifications in horizontal jumps and pole vault. 

Aside from his coaching experience, Honeycutt also served six years in the U.S. Army National Guard as a Field Artillery Soldier for Alpha Battery 1-108th Field Artillery 56th Stryker Brigade.Â
