Emma Senglaub

Emma Senglaub serves as the Graduate Assistant and Recruiting Coordinator for the Colgate University swimming and diving program. In this role, she leads the program's recruiting efforts—including prospect outreach, visit planning, and database management—while managing administrative tasks and assisting with daily coaching and athlete development.

Prior to joining the coaching staff, Senglaub was a four-year student-athlete for the Colgate varsity swim team from 2021 to 2025. During her competitive career with the Raiders, she earned the team's Most Improved Award for the 2021-22 season, received the Donna Carter 80 Memorial Award for the 2023-24 season, and served as the Head of the Women's Team Welcome Committee. Senglaub was also highly involved across the athletic department, serving on the executive boards for both Wellness Advocates and Athlete Ally, and working as a sustainability liaison.

Senglaub brings a wealth of outside coaching experience to Hamilton. She has served as an Assistant Senior/Senior Prep Swim Coach for the Victor Swim Club and has worked as a camp coach for several premier collegiate programs, including the United States Naval Academy, the University of Virginia, and Villanova University. Additionally, she has experience as a swim lesson instructor and supervisor at Colgate's Lineberry Natatorium.

A native of Victor, New York, Senglaub graduated from Colgate in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and double minors in Sociology and Educational Studies
. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching at Colgate with a concentration in Secondary Social Studies. As an undergraduate, she maintained a 3.89 GPA, earned the Dean's Award with Distinction for Academic Excellence in all semesters, and was inducted into both the Pi Sigma Alpha and Phi Eta Sigma national honor societies.
