Scott Gyllenborg

Scott Gyllenborg begins his second season on the men's soccer staff.

Gyllenborg comes to Hamilton from the University of Indianapolis, where he was a graduate assistant last season. He assisted in training, worked on team scouts and recruiting, as well as camp and fundraising duties. He has worked multiple camps at the University of Indiana and Butler University, while also coached the Carmel United Soccer Club with ages ranging from U11 to U16 boys and also U17 girls. His team’s won multiple state cup titles and qualified for regional tournaments.

Started his collegiate career at Meramec College, a junior college in St. Louis, where he was a two-year starter for the nationally-ranked Magic. He tallied 10 goals and 11 assists in his two years, but missed most of his sophomore year due to injury. After his sophomore season, he moved onto the University of Indianapolis and was a two-year starter and team captain. He led his senior year team to the best season in school history as they reached the most wins in school history.

Gyllenborg graduated in 2011 from Indianapolis with a degree in Psychology and holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) ‘C’ coaching license.
