Kade Rannings

Kade Rannings was named running backs and assistant special teams coach in April of 2008.

He comes to Colgate from St. Joseph’s College in Indiana where he served as wide receiver coach and video coordinator for the last two seasons.  In his first season with the Pumas, the team finished 8-3 and won the Great Lakes Football Conference title.

A 2005 graduate of Oregon State, Rannings started his coaching career as an undergraduate with the Beavers.  During the 2001 and 2002 seasons, he was a volunteer offensive assistant under head coach Dennis Erickson helping breakdown film and preparing scouting reports.

After those two seasons, he became an offensive student assistant working with wide receivers under head coach Mike Riley for the 2003 and 2004 campaigns.  During his four years with the Beavers, Oregon State participated in three bowls – 2002 Insight.com Bowl, 2003 Las Vegas Bowl and 2004 Insight.com Bowl.

In 2005, Rannings joined Jim Harbaugh’s staff at the University of San Diego.  During his one year with the Toreros, they finished 11-1 and won the Pioneer League title.

Rannings, 25 years old, was born December 4, 1982 in Seoul, Korea.  He is from of Albany, Oregon.
