Sophomore Year (2013-14): Outdoor Track: Participated in three meets ... Notched a season-best in the 3,000 meters at the Lafayette Invite when she clocked in at 10:55.85 for the sixth spot ... Earned 17th place at the Patriot League Championships in the 5,000 meters after crossing the finish line in 18:34.61 ... Also posted a time of 5:05.22 in the 1,500 meters at the Albany Invite to hand her fifth place. Indoor Track: Competed in four meets this season ... Registered a career-best at the Kane Invite in the mile when she posted a time of 5:34.51 ... Also notched a personal-best time of 10:54.82 in the 3,000 meters at the Upstate Challenge ... Before Colgate: Holland was a four-year letterwinner in all twelve seasons combined of Cross Country and Indoor and Outdoor Track during her time at San Francisco's University High School ... During her high school career she garnered Bay County All-League Honors all four years, All North Coast Section First Team honors in 2010, and All North Coast Section Second Team honors in 2011 ... Holland was University High School's 2012 Athlete of the Year, and helped her XC squad to win three California State Championships in a row (2009, 2010, 2011) ... Her personal records include 11:14 for the 3200m, and 18:42 for the 5k XC course ... In addition, Holland is a co-founder of KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) and admissions coordinator at University High School.
