Before Colgate: Earned four letters at Linganore High School under Brian Matthews … Helped lead the Lancers to a 78-17 record and the Monocacy Valley Athletic League Championship as a sophomore and a senior … Averaged 14.9 points and 11.9 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game her senior season and finished her scholastic career with the Lancers with 1,131 points and 813 rebounds, just the fourth player in Linganore history to score 1,000 career points … Selected as the Gazette Player of the Year and captured first-team all-MVAL Chesapeake honors … Voted as the team’s most valuable player in 2008 and also earned the Blood and Guts Award … Served as a team captain for three years … Played in the Frederick City/County All-Star Game and participated in the McDonald’s Roundball Classic … Played AAU for Blue Ridge Force from 2000-06 and most recently played in the Notre Dame Academy Boo Williams Summer League in 2007 … A member of the National Honor Society and also earned letters in volleyball and lacrosse.
