BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Cole Blair,
Ryan Krill,
Ethan Eisner, and
Emma Pizer of Colgate Men's and Women's Track and Field were named to their respective Patriot League All-Academic Teams, announced by the conference Thursday afternoon.
Blair, a Patriot League Men's Long Jump Champion received his first outdoor All-Academic league honor. As a key performer throughout the season, he sported multiple first-place finishes throughout the season. Most recently, Blair recorded an NCAA Qualifying jump of 7.30m and a spot in the NCAA Preliminaries later this month in Jacksonville, Fla.
Krill has played a crucial piece throughout the season in the men's 4x100, capturing a podium finish in the Patriot League Championships. Krill has also sported a first-place finish in the 4x400 and a third-place finish in the 4x100 at the Holy Cross Invitational.
Eisner is coming off a successful Patriot League Championship where he captured a third-place finish in the 4x100 with a time of 41.42, a fourth-place finish in the men's 400m with a time of 48.79, and a fifth-place finish in the 4x400 with a time of 3:19.74. He also played a key piece in the men's 4x400m at the Holy Cross Invitational 2023, finishing first place.
Pizer makes the All-Academic team after a first-place finish at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in the women's 3000m with a time of 10:10.14 and a second-place finish in the 5000m run at the ECAC/IC4A with a time of 16:52.17.
To be eligible for selection for Patriot League All-Academic honors, an athlete must be at least a sophomore, be a starter or key reserve in a varsity sport and carry a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher
