HAMILTON – Colgate Athletics has announced upcoming schedules for 11 teams, including six fall teams, two winter teams, and three spring seasons with fall competitions.
Schedule highlights for volleyball, men's and women's soccer, field hockey, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's golf, and men's and women's tennis are listed below. Additional winter and spring schedules will be announced in the coming weeks as they become available.
Volleyball
2022 Schedule
Another tough non-conference schedule gets underway when the Raiders visit USC for their season-opening weekend Aug. 26-27. Colgate heads to NC State the following weekend before hosting Niagara for the home opener Sept. 7. After heading to Cornell Sept. 9-10, the Raiders open their title defense at home against Loyola Sept. 16. Colgate will play 16 Patriot League contests during the regular season, including eight matches at Cotterell Court.
Men's Soccer
2022 Schedule
Colgate opens the season with two-straight games against 2021 NCAA Tournament participants, traveling to Providence Aug. 25 before its home-opener against Marist Aug. 29. The Raiders then hit the road to face Binghamton Sept. 2 and Fairfield Sept. 7. After hosting Penn Sept. 11, Colgate welcomes Boston University Sept. 16 for its first of nine Patriot League games, five of which will be at Beyer-Small '76 Field. The Raiders have three more non-conference games mixed in, hosting Syracuse Sept. 20 and Cornell Oct. 11, as well as traveling to UAlbany Oct. 18.
Women's Soccer

The Raiders kick off the season at Providence Aug. 18 before their first home game against Iona Aug. 21. Colgate then heads to Princeton Aug. 26 before coming back home for games against La Salle Sept. 1 and Canisius Sept. 4. After traveling to Buffalo Sept. 11, the Raiders host Villanova Sept. 14. Colgate plays nine Patriot League games, including a matchup against Loyola Sept. 17 in its first of five home conference contests. The Raiders round up the non-conference portion of their schedule Oct. 4 when they host Cornell.
Field Hockey

Colgate's season begins with a weekend road trip as the team travels to Merrimack Aug. 26 and Rider Aug. 28. The Raiders face off against Bryant in their home opener Sept. 2 before heading to Lock Haven Sept. 4. Colgate then begins a four-game homestand going up against Cornell Sept. 7 and UAlbany Sept. 9. The following weekend, the Raiders welcome Yale Sept. 16 and Duke Sept. 18. Colgate's Patriot League slate begins at American Sept. 24. The Raiders will play six conference games, including three at Tyler's Field. Colgate will also travel to Cornell Sept. 25 and host Vermont Oct. 2 as well as Stonehill Oct. 11. The Raiders conclude their non-conference schedule with a trip to Sacred Heart Oct. 16.

The Raiders open the 2022 campaign hosting their annual Harry Lang Invitational Sept. 3. Colgate is then off for two weeks before racing at the Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational Sept 17. The Raiders then head to Lehigh for the Paul Short Invitational Sept. 30. Colgate runs at the IC4A/ECAC Championship Oct. 14, followed by Cornell's John Reif Memorial Oct. 21. The season wraps up at the Patriot League Championship Oct. 29.

Colgate's season opens Oct. 7 when the Raiders host the Colgate Invitational at Lineberry Natatorium. That kicks off a 10-meet regular season, with the first four in Hamilton. Colgate hosts Binghamton, Lafayette, and Loyola before hitting the road for Marist and a three-day invitational at West Virginia. Colgate hosts Hamilton Dec. 10 and after a one-month hiatus will open the 2023 slate at Boston University Jan. 10. The Raiders conclude their regular season with a meet at Holy Cross.
Men's Golf
2022-23 Schedule
The Raiders will look to build off their successful season with five tournaments on the docket for the 2022 fall season. Colgate kicks things off with the annual Alex Lagowitz Memorial Sept. 2-4 and five days later heads to St. John's for the Doc Gimmler Invite. Heading to the west coast, the Raiders will compete in the Husky Invitational Sept. 18-20 hosted by Washington. Colgate opens the month of October with the Columbia Invite in Lake Placid before closing out the fall with the Elon Invitational.
Men's Tennis
2022-23 Schedule
Colgate has three tournaments on the 2022 fall portion of the schedule before the ITA Regionals. The Raiders get underway Sept. 9 for the Villanova Invitational, which will take place over three days, before concluding the first month of the regular season at Binghamton Sept. 23-25. Colgate then visits Lehigh Oct. 1-2 and will prepare for the ITA Regionals Oct. 7-10.
Women's Tennis
2022-23 Schedule
The Raiders kick off the 2022-23 season with a home match against Le Moyne Sept. 13. The Raiders will compete in three tournaments in total before the ITA Regionals. After visiting Lehigh Sept. 17-18, Colgate takes on Army for a three-day invitational Sept. 23-25 in West Point. The ITA Regionals will be held Sept. 30-Oct. 3 and the fall season concludes with a home invitational Oct. 15-16.
