ITHACA, N.Y. — The Colgate men's rowing team competed at the Ithaca Invitational on the Cayuga Inlet Saturday afternoon. The Raiders' varsity eight took first place after defeating Ithaca and Marietta in head-to-head races.

Colgate first went up against Ithaca in its heat with Hamilton and Marietta racing in the other heat. The Raiders defeated the Bombers with a time of 6:25.6. 

In the Grand Final, Colgate faced off against Marietta. The Raiders came in at 6:28.4 to take the win.

Colgate is off next week before heading to Philadelphia for the Dad Vail Regatta being held May 13-14.
