HAMILTON – Colgate Athletics is excited to announce upcoming schedules for seven fall teams, four winter teams, and three spring teams who have competitions during the fall semester.
 
The 2021-22 athletics schedule, corresponding with Patriot League and ECAC Hockey conference slates, follows a more traditional format this fall with the Colgate women's soccer team kicking off the first competitive event on Aug. 19.
 
In alignment with the university's plans to return to in-person events this fall, Colgate Athletics announced that Raider teams will return to competition with fans in the stands. Spectator policies are being developed and additional details will be shared in the weeks ahead. 
 
Schedule highlights and championship dates for football, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, field hockey, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's hockey, men's and women's swimming and diving, men's golf, and men's and women's tennis are listed below. Additional winter and spring schedules will be announced in the coming weeks as they become available. 
 
Football
2021 Schedule

A packed lineup featuring 11 regular season games, including five at Andy Kerr Stadium, begins when the Raiders travel to Boston College on Sept. 4. A three-game homestand from Sept. 11-25 features Stony Brook, William & Mary, and Lehigh making the trek to Hamilton. After Homecoming against Lehigh on Sept. 25, the Raiders host only one home game in the month of October (Bucknell on Oct. 30) before rounding out the regular season at home when they host Fordham on Nov. 20. 
 
Volleyball
2021 Schedule

Returning to invitational lineups, Colgate opens the season on a large national stage at the Nebraska Tournament Aug. 27-28, before competing in the Albany Tournament Sept. 3-4. After hosting UNLV for a single match on Sept. 8, the Raiders are set for the fourth annual Ellis Rowland Memorial Tournament from Sept. 10-11, where they host Princeton, Cleveland State, and Hofstra. After their eight nonconference matches, the Raiders add 16 Patriot League matches, including eight at home. After opening against Lehigh and Lafayette (Sept. 17-18), Colgate plays through Senior Day on Nov. 6. Patriot League Tournament Dates – Nov. 16-21, 2021
 
Men's Soccer
2021 Schedule

Colgate is scheduled for 18 regular season matches, kicking off at home against Binghamton on Aug. 26. That marks the first of nine regular season contests at Beyer-Small '76 Field. Nonconference home pairings also include Vermont, UC Santa Barbara, Princeton, and Albany before the Raiders open Patriot League play at Army on Sept. 18. Colgate will play nine conference matches, including home showdowns against Navy, Bucknell, Loyola, and Lehigh in the regular season finale on Nov. 3. The Raiders visit Holy Cross, Lafayette, Boston University, and American. Nonconference road matches feature New Hampshire, Penn, Syracuse, and Cornell. Patriot League Tournament Dates – Nov. 6-13, 2021
 
Women's Soccer
2021 Schedule

Seventeen matches, including seven home contests at Beyer-Small '76 Field, highlight Colgate's 2021 regular season schedule. The Raiders open with back-to-back home games against Fordham (Aug. 19) and Eastern Michigan (Aug. 26) before hitting the road for six of the next seven matches. Colgate kicks off Patriot League play at Loyola on Sept. 18 and hosts Navy in a rematch of the spring 2021 Patriot League championship on Oct. 2. Three straight road games at Cornell, Army, and Lehigh precede a home showdown against American. The Raiders visit Lafayette before hosting Holy Cross in the regular season finale on Oct. 27. Patriot League Tournament Dates – Oct. 31-Nov. 7, 2021
 
Field Hockey
2021 Schedule

After opening the season on Aug. 27 at Albany, the Raiders are slated for a full 15 games in the 2021 campaign. Featuring six home dates at Tyler's Field, the Raiders kick off a three-game homestand on Aug. 29 against Rider, followed by Lock Haven (Sept. 5) and the start of a home-and-home series with Cornell (Sept. 8). A game on Sept. 25 against Lehigh marks the start of a six-game Patriot League lineup, before the regular season concludes at home when the Raiders host American on Oct. 30. Patriot League Tournament Dates – Nov. 5-7, 2021

Colgate will compete in four regular season meets, starting with the annual Harry Lang Invitational in Hamilton on Sept. 4. The Raiders head to Rochester before returning to conference competition at the Paul Short Meet at Lehigh on Oct. 1. After visiting Albany on Oct. 16, the Patriot League championship is slated for Oct. 30 in Bethlehem. Postseason meets also include the NCAA Regional Championship in Boston (Nov. 10) and IC4A/ECAC Championship in New York (Nov. 18). Patriot League Championship Date – Oct. 30, 2021
 
Men's Hockey
2021-22 Schedule

The 2021-22 season for the men's hockey program gets underway on Oct. 2 as the Raiders travel to face RIT. It is the first of a 34-game slate in the regular season, while there will be 17 chances to catch the Raiders at home at Class of 1965 Arena. After opening with three straight road games against RIT and Vermont, the Raiders return home for a six-game homestand that features Merrimack (Oct. 15-16), Arizona State (Oct. 22-23), and Western Michigan (Oct. 29-30). After opening ECAC Hockey play at Dartmouth and Harvard (Nov. 5-6), the team hosts RPI and Union for its biannual Silver Puck Weekend Nov. 12-13. Other nonconference additions include a game at UConn on Nov. 27, and a two-game series at Northern Michigan Jan. 7-8. January features a five-game home stretch, leading up to the highly-anticipated Cornell home-and-home series the weekend of Feb. 4-5, before rounding out the regular season Feb. 25-26.  
 
Women's Hockey
2021-22 Schedule

The defending ECAC champion Raiders are back Sept. 24-25 as they open the season with a nonconference home-and-home series against RIT. The weekend leads off a season that includes 34 regular season games, 12 nonconference matchups, and 17 at home at Class of 1965 Arena. Continuing an in-state rivalry, the Raiders are set for a home-and-home series with Syracuse Oct. 14-16 before hosting Minnesota in a two-game series on Oct. 22-23. After ECAC Hockey play begins against Dartmouth and Harvard (Oct. 29-30), Colgate looks forward to traveling to Nashville, Tenn. for the Smashville NCAA Showcase Nov. 26-27 where it faces Boston College, and Mercyhurst or Minnesota. With the remaining ECAC slate, the Raiders round out the regular season Feb. 18-19 at Clarkson and St. Lawrence. ECAC Hockey Tournament Dates - Feb. 25-March 12, 2022

The Raiders will compete on five weekends in the fall semester, kicking off their 2021-22 campaign with a home meet against UMass, Rutgers, and St. Bonaventure at Lineberry Natatorium Oct. 9-10. Colgate hits the road to take on Binghamton, Lafayette, and Loyola before hosting Marist on Nov. 13. After a three-day meet at West Virginia to close out the fall slate, Colgate picks back up in 2022 with meets against Boston University (Jan. 15) and Holy Cross (Jan. 18). The Raiders square off against the Terriers in Boston Feb. 4-5 before setting their sights on the Patriot League championships Feb. 16. Patriot League Championship Date – Feb. 16, 2022
 
Men's Golf
2021-22 Schedule

Colgate will take part in five events during the fall portion of the schedule, opening with the annual Alex Lagowitz Memorial at Seven Oaks Golf Course on Sept. 4. The Raiders follow up with St. John's Doc Gimmler Invite and then visit Ivy League foes Cornell (Cornell Fall Invitational) and Yale (Macdonald Cup) in September before taking the road to face Binghamton Oct. 3-4. Closing out the fall schedule, Colgate will compete in a three-day event at Bucknell Oct. 10-12.
 
Men's Tennis
2021-22 Schedule

The Raiders open the fall's four-tournament slate by traveling to the Villanova Invite Sept. 10-12. The men's team then combines with the women's team at the Siena Invite (Sept. 17-18), before preparing for the ITA Regional Invite Oct. 1-4. The fall season rounds out at the Middlebury Hidden Dual (Oct. 22-24). 

Women's Tennis
2021-22 Schedule

Colgate's four-tournament fall campaign opens Sept. 17-18 with the Siena Invite, before the women's tennis program takes on the Lehigh Invite Sept. 25-26. They remain on the road for the ITA Regional Invite Oct. 1-4, before rounding out the semester with the Army Invite (Oct. 15-17).
