HAMILTON – The men's swimming and diving team hosted its second meet of the season as the Raiders fell to Binghamton 241-45 on Senior Day.

Highlighting the day for Colgate were three stellar second-place finishes. Senior
Andrew Kelemen's time of 10:28.27 was good for second in the 1,000-yard freestyle and first-year
Neil Nejame placed second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:58.74.

In the men's 200-yard freestyle relay, Colgate's A team of junior
Justin Song, junior
Jack Van Meter, senior
Camden Koch and junior
Segundo Rienhardt finished second with a time of 1:30.64.

Placing third with a time of 5:07.76 in the 500-yard freestyle was junior
Noah Zeigler and Song finished third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.05.

In the 200-yard medley relay, Colgate's A team of Nejame, Koch, Song and Van Meter placed fourth with a time of 1:40.19. Song also placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:48.04 and Nejame's time of 54.04 was good for fourth in the 100-yard backstroke.

In the men's diving meet, which was at Binghamton this morning at 9 a.m., sophomore
Lucas Austin finished fourth in the 1-meter dive with a score of 130.43. He also placed fourth in the 3-meter dive with a final score of 134.77.

On the men's and women's performances, head coach Ed Pretre said, "After a very hard week of training, the teams battled extremely hard. We're looking forward to ending our season and being rested for three weeks."
