SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – A week ago, Colgate's collegiate 8 was unable to finish its race at the Head of the Charles because of boat damage. On Saturday the Raiders returned to the water with the same lineup, and racing against many of the same crews, placed second at the Head of the Fish Regatta.
 
Colgate's time of 9:46.87 was three seconds behind the winning boat from Dartmouth and two seconds ahead of Marist's third-place finish. MIT and Tufts completed the top five on the 3.2 km course.
 
The Raiders will complete their fall season next Sunday at the Princeton Chase.
