HAMILTON - There's no doubt that the Colgate women brought their best to Lineberry Natatorium on Saturday. The team swept Niagara and Canisius, including a thrilling one-point victory over Canisius.
The Raiders saw several first place finishes in individual events. Senior Lauren deTorres won two including the 50 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Breaststroke. deTorres was also an integral part of the 200 Yard Medley Relay. That winning group also included Beth Caruana, Madison Sullivan, and Carolyn Silverman.
Katie Hand also had an impressive showing for Colgate. The freshman from Indiana took first in the 200 Yard Individual Medley and also the 100 Yard Butterfly.
Colgate defeated Niagara by a score of 133-104, Canisius 121-120.
