WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Colgate men's and women's swimming teams picked up a pair of victories over Lafayette while falling to Army West Point in a Martin Luther King Jr. Day tri-meet at Army Monday afternoon.

The women turned out a dominant 231-47 victory over Lafayette, while the men pulled out a 188.50-104.50 victory against the Leopards. Army was able to take a 177-106 decision over the Raider women, while the Black Knight men earned a 181-108 victory.

Colton Hall picked up a win for the Raider men.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- The Raiders took the top four spots in the 200-yard freestyle, led by Gallagher's (1:54.76) first-place finish. Flora Hanson (1:57.41), Sam Adams (1:57.68) and Michelle Dols (2:00.04) finished second through fourth, respectively.
- Gallagher claimed her second win of the day in the 500-yard freestyle with a clip of 5:07.40.
- Gallagher also placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (52.61), while Hanson took second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:07.62).
- Maggie Carney (2:08.78) and Erica Silverman (2:10.16) claimed the top two spots in the 200-yard butterfly.
- Carney also placed second in the 100-yard butterfly after touching the wall in 58.62.
- Bernadete Tankle (10:51.99) and Taylor Atkin (11:04.18) went 2-3 in the 1,000 yard freestyle.
- Colgate claimed spots two through five in the 100-yard breaststroke, as Talia Fishbein led the way in second with a time of 1:09.56.
- The quartet of Gallagher, Maddy Fitzgerald, Liv Castro and Adams placed second in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a mark of 3:36.26.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Hall grabbed the 200-yard butterfly title with a time of 1:54.34. He also placed second in the 100-yard butterfly with a mark of 51.08.
- Anders Brekke (10:03.94) and Dominic Wilkins (10:04.21) finished second and third, respectively, in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
- Max Michael claimed second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:47.54.
- Hank Alderoty placed second in the 50-yard freestyle after touching the wall in 22.16.
- Andrew Karsh recorded a pair of third-place finishes in the 100-yard backstroke (54.39) and 100-yard freestyle (49.05).
