WORCESTER, Mass. – Colgate and Holy Cross settled for a 1-1 double overtime draw Sunday afternoon in Patriot League action. Senior
Zach Pagani gave the Raiders a 1-0 lead shortly into the second half, but Holy Cross found an equalizer 20 minutes later.

Zach Tamen that flew just wide opened the game 20 seconds into the contest. Pagani forced Holy Cross keeper Bobby Hurstak to make his first save of the game in the seventh minute. The Raiders threatened with seven corner kicks and two more shots in the opening term, but the game went to halftime scoreless.
Pagani put Colgate on the board just over two minutes into the second half. The senior found a through pass from junior
Jared Stroud and buried it into the back of the net to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead in the 48th minute.
The Crusaders found an equalizer in the 67th minute when Joey DeVivo sent a long shot into the left-hand corner of the net to knot the score at 1-1. A pair of attempts from sophomore

Troy Moo Penn skidded wide to close out the second frame as the game went to overtime tied at 1-1.
It was all Colgate in the first overtime period as the Raiders maintained possession and peppered the Holy Cross defense with two shots and a corner kick. The Crusaders then withstood four Colgate attempts in the second overtime as the teams settled for a 1-1 draw.
