HAMILTON – Josie Stockill's double-double led four Colgate players in double figures as the Raiders bounced King's (Pa.) 81-37 in exhibition hoops.
Stockill finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds, while
Kateri Stone registered a game-high 15 points.
Katie Curtis and
Ariel Etheridge added 10 points apiece.
Playing under the new four-quarter format, Colgate's best scoring quarters were the third with 29 and the first with 20. The Raider defense limited their Division III foe to just five points in the second period and only four in the final stanza.
Colgate forced 30 turnovers thanks to 18 steals, and the Raiders outrebounded King's 69-32.
Colgate opens the regular season Nov. 15 at Kent State. The Raider home opener is Nov. 22 against Monmouth.

• Poland and Barcello were impressive inside. Poland finished with four blocked shots and seven boards, while Barcello added seven rebounds as well.
• Chandler was a smooth 4-of-6 from the floor to go with six rebounds.
• Etheridge was the team's assist and steal leader with five apiece to complement her 10 points.
• Kriftcher chipped in four steals and Koren three.
More Key Info• Colgate used a 17-5 blitz in the second quarter to take a 37-17 lead into intermission.
• The Raiders posted advantages of 49-14 in bench points and 36-12 in points-off-turnovers.
• Colgate shot 37.6 percent from the floor to 22.2 percent for King's. The Raiders were 4-of-13 from long distance and 13-of-19 from the line.
• The Raiders were on the negative end of the assists-to-turnover ratio, with 15-to-21, but they did force 18 Monarch steals.
Turning Point• Colgate scored just two points over the game's opening 4:15.
• But the Raiders found their rhythm thanks to a 10-0 run that made it 12-3.
• Colgate led 20-12 at the end of the first quarter and never was threatened.

As a team, we had goals of just working well together and getting into set offenses and defenses, and we did really well with that.
