From the Source
• Colgate head coach Andy Waeger: (On the women's event) "We started off a little flat and lost a couple of races early that we weren't expecting. It provided a little bit of a wakeup call for us and we had to get to some good racing.

"After the first break when we were down, we made some key lineup adjustments that put our women in some stronger places for some stronger races. And then we had our senior, Morgan Cohara, take along some youngsters and calm them down.

"Our women really stepped up and got into racing."

(On the men's event) "We thought we had a really good chance tonight, but Bryant was just better than we were.

"Des in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke were both neck-and-neck races, but he held on for some pretty good wins. You can always count on Andrew Hacker to give you a great race, and Dom Wilkins you have to mention. That 1,000 win was huge for momentum early in the meet.

(On the quick turnaround for Sunday's meet at Holy Cross) "It's great training and great practice for the men and women. When we get to the Patriot League championships, we're going to have to do that four nights in a row. Everything we do all year long is to get us ready for the Patriot League championships, and a weekend like this is all about that.

"We had some great races tonight and some races that we wish could have gone a different way, but we have to be ready to race again Sunday. We are excited to swim at Holy Cross."
