Diane Seely recorded a match-high eight kills and posted a .316 hitting percentage, but Penn used a balanced attack to knock off Colgate, 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-15) in collegiate volleyball action Friday in the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia West Invitational at the Palestra.

Junior Alex Caldwell tallied a team-best seven kills and classmate Alexis Genske posted six spikes to highlight a balanced Quaker attack that saw six players register at least four kills in the match. Caldwell also dished out 17 assists and 13 digs as she finished just shy of a triple-double.

How It Happened- Penn used a 13-4 run midway through the frame to break an 11-all tie and record a 25-20 victory in the opening set.
- The Quakers took the second frame, 25-23, as it held on in a tightly played stanza that saw the Raiders pull with one point on three occasions over the final six points.
- A 13-3 spurt to open the third set sparked Penn to a 25-15 victory and the match. The Quakers finished the frame without an attack error as they notched 11 kills in 21 total attempts for a .524 attack clip.
