HAMILTON – Sophomore
Kathleen Harris recorded a match-high nine kills to lead Colgate to a 3-0 (25-11, 25-22, 25-15) sweep of visiting Lafayette in Patriot League volleyball action Sunday at Cotterell Court.
Harris highlighted a balanced Raiders attack that saw five players finish with six or more spikes as Colgate combined to post 38 kills and a .312 hitting percentage for the match. Senior

Freshman Elizabeth Walsh notched nine kills to lead Lafayette, who was held to a .058 (30-24-104) attack percentage for the contest. Freshman Tori Smith handed out 15 assists and junior Lauren Pisauro led all players with 14 digs.

How It Happened
- Colgate cruised to a 25-11 victory in the first set. The Raiders held a 6-5 lead early in the frame when a spike by sophomore Kaite Stebbins sparked a 14-2 run that gave the Raiders a 20-7 lead. The two sides exchanged points until Seely tallied her fourth spike of the frame to close out the set and give Colgate a 1-0 lead.
- The second set was the closet of the match as it featured a total of 11 ties and five lead changes. Deadlocked at 22-all, back-to-back attack errors by the Leopards and a kill by senior
Kenzie Hume led the Raiders to a 25-22 victory and a 2-0 lead.
- Colgate jumped out to an early lead in the third set, recording 10 of the first 12 points of the frame to take a 10-2 and never looked back. The Raiders coasted the rest of the way, leading by as many as 10 down the stretch on its way to a 25-15 triumph and the sweep.
