Raider Men Finish Sixth at PL Championships

Colgate Ends Season with 189 Points

LEWISBURG, Pa. –
The Colgate men's swimming and diving team wrapped up its season with a sixth-place finish at Patriot League Championships with 189 points.

Dan Sweeney was the lone swimmer for the Raiders to compete in finals on the last day of competition and placed 12th in the 100 free in the consolation final. He also contributed to the fifth-place finish in the 400 free relay, along with Des Cairns, Carter Christensen and Paul Kersjes. The team finished with a time of 3:06.59.

Andrew Hacker had another highlight for Colgate with a 10th-place swim in the 1605 free, which began the evening session. He ended up with a time of 16:06.65 and that was his fastest time in the event as a Raider.

Navy won the overall title in convincing fashion with 995.5 points, while Army took second with 734 points.
