ITHACA, N.Y. – The Colgate men's swimming and diving team concluded its two-meet weekend at Cornell on Saturday and dropped a 152-112 decision to the Big Red.

Colgate was led by Dan Sweeney, Andrew Hacker and Tavy Smith. Sweeney earned a second-place finish in the 50 free with a time of 21.72. Hacker ended up third in the 1000 freestyle, clocking in at 10:12.12 and then Smith took third as well with his swim coming in the 100 breaststroke.

Haakon Brekke ended up second in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:19.42. Sweeney then finished third in the 100 fly in his final event of the day, clocking in at 53.24 seconds.

The Raiders will be back in action on Jan. 18 with a visit to Binghamton.
