Men's Swimming & Diving Starts Second Half

LEWISBURG, Pa. –
The Colgate men's swimming and diving team got two individual wins from Dan Sweeney, but the Raiders dropped a 193-92 decision to Bucknell on Friday afternoon.

Sweeney took home wins in the 50 free and 100 butterfly. He earned his first win of the day in the 50 free with a time of 21.30 seconds and then followed that with a victory in the 100 fly later in the meet, clocking in at 57.27 seconds.

Des Cairns earned Colgate's third individual victory, which came in the 100 back with the rookie clocking in at 52.70 seconds. Classmate Milos Gak had another high finish for the Raiders as he took second at 1:45. 86 in the 200 free.

The 200 yard medley team of Cairnes, Sweeney, Haakon Brekke and Carter Christensen took home third place with a time of 1:38.16  in the event that kicked off the meet.

Colgate will be back in action tomorrow at Cornell, beginning at 11 a.m.
