The Colgate Raiders (2-3, 0-1) will look for their first road win of the season on Saturday when they travel to Monmouth (2-2, 1-1 NEC). Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. at Kessler Field and can be seen live online on

THE SERIES
This will be the fourth meeting between Colgate and Monmouth, with the Raiders leading the all-time series 2-1. Colgate has won the last two meetings including a 30-29 win last season at Andy Kerr Stadium.

THE COACHES
Colgate head coach
Dick Biddle, who has the most wins in school history, is in his 16th season at the helm of the Raiders. His overall record is 122-58, and 2-1 against Monmouth.
Monmouth head coach Kevin Callahan is in his 19th season with the Hawks and has a record of 107-82.
MONMOUTH NOTEBOOK
The Hawks (2-2, 1-1 NEC) are coming off a 23-20 home loss to Robert Morris at Kessler Field. Mitchell Pollard made a career-high 10 receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown in the loss, while Kyle Frazier completed 27-of-39 passes for 241 yards and a score.
Monmouth is led on offense by Frazier, who has completed 87-of-135 passes for 881 yards and three touchdowns, while Pollard leads the team with 27 catches for 284 yards and one score.
On defense the Hawks are led by Dan Sullivan who has a team-high 32 tackles, seven for a loss and one sack, while Jose Gumbs has 23 tackles, along with one interception. Senior Ian Thomas earned CFPA Honorable Mention after collecting a career-high seven tackles, 1.5 sacks and two forced fumbles against Robert Morris.
EACHUS NAMED NATIONAL RUNNING BACK OF THE WEEK

Gavin McCarney were recognized by CollegeFootballPerformance.com for their achievements in Saturday's game against Fordham.
Eachus was named the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) DI FCS National Running Back of the Week after running for 228 yards and one touchdown. Eachus also caught four passes for 55 yards as the Raiders downed Fordham 38-14. This is the second time this season that Eachus has achieved CFPA honors.
Lock and McCarney both earned honorable mention for their respective positions. Lock recorded five tackles, one interception and forced a fumble for a defense that only allowed two scores, while McCarney completed 12-of-19 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns. McCarney also ran for 66 yards and two more scores. This is McCarney's second time this season he has earned CFPA honors.
ARMIENTO NAMED PL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Freshman
Mike Armiento was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week following his performance against Fordham. Armiento is Colgate's first recipient of the award this season.
Armiento, who made his first collegiate start at cornerback, finished with six tackles and one interception in the Raiders 38-14 win. Armiento now leads the team with two interceptions.
COLGATE LOVES NEW YORK
The Raiders have a perfect 2-0 record at home this season outscoring their opponents 75-48, while dropping their first three road games of the season. Colgate has been outscored 116-44 in its three games outside of Hamilton.
BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL
Colgate has two players this season that have seen time on both sides of the ball. Senior
Dan Basil has played both wide receiver and defensive back, while junior
Jordan McCord has seen time as a running back and free safety.
Basil has four catches for 34 yards on offense while recording eight tackles on defense. McCord, who ran for 930 yards during the 2009 season, has three carries for five yards this year, while recording 41 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble on defense.
CAREER RUSHING CHART
All-American running back
Nate Eachus, is climbing up the Colgate record books. He currently has 4,211 rushing yards and 50 touchdowns, both rank third overall. Eachus needs 789 yards to become just the third Raider to amass 5,000 yards in a career, while he needs 1,410 yards to break the all-time rushing record of 5,621 set by former teammate Jordan Scott '07. Scott also holds the all-time record in rushing touchdowns with 57.
600 AND COUNTING
Last season the Colgate football team became just the 15th program in FCS history to reach 600 wins after topping Cornell 44-3 on Oct. 16. Colgate now has an all-time record of 605-450-50. The Raiders are also the ninth winningest program in the FCS over the last decade. Since 2000, Colgate has posted a recorded 89-39 and won four Patriot League titles.

THE BIDDLE ERA
Colgate head coach
Dick Biddle is in his 16th season with the Raiders and has an overall mark of 122-58. He has achieved the best winning percentage (.686) of any Colgate coach with seven or more years at the helm of the Raiders. Biddle is also the first Colgate coach to ever record nine straight seasons with seven or more victories. He has been named Patriot League Coach of the Year four times while guiding the Raiders to six Patriot League titles and six appearances in the FCS (formally I-AA) playoffs.
In 2003, Biddle was named the American Football Coaches Association Division I-AA National Coach of the Year after leading the Raiders to a 15-1 record, and to the national championship game of the NCAA Division I-AA playoffs.

Dick Biddle, the Raiders are 50-37 against non-conference teams for a winning percentage of .593. They have a 35-9 mark against the Ivy League.
