FINAL RESULTS

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (1/22/11) – The Colgate men's swimming and diving team came up short in a dual meet at Binghamton, 166-111, with Costas Hadjipateras earning two individual event victories.

Hadjipateras got the Raiders their first victory of the afternoon with a time in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:44.12 and followed that with a first-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:57.03. Devon Healy earned the other win for the Raiders. He swam to a win in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:12.19.

Colgate won the 400-yard freestyle relay at 3:12.37. Hadjipateras swam the third leg and was joined by Tucker Gniewek, Dan Sweeney and Patrick White.

The Raiders head back into Patriot League competition next Saturday against Army and Lafayette in West Point, N.Y.
