HAMILTON, N.Y. (7/22/08) – Season ticket packages for the 2008-09 Colgate men’s ice hockey season are now on sale! A variety of packages are available to suit every fan’s needs and budget, and every seat at Starr Rink is a great place from which to watch top-level college hockey.

New this year, fans have the option of purchasing partial season ticket packages. The Maroon Plan includes all Friday games, while the White Plan includes all Saturday games. Both plans include tickets to the annual showdown with archrival Cornell, which will be played on Thursday, Nov. 13.

Fans can choose full or partial season tickets either in the chairback section on the north side of the rink, or in “Raider Nation,” located in the bleachers behind the east goal, which the Raiders shoot on in both the first and third periods of each game. Full season ticket packages in the chairback section cost $156 for adults and $121 for children 12 and under, while “Raider Nation” seats cost just $90. Partial season ticket packages cost $70 for chairback seats and $42 for “Raider Nation” seats.

All full and partial season ticket enjoy a variety of benefits that include a Colgate athletics gift, a game program for each home weekend, an invitation to a preseason reception with coaches and players, their same seat for the exhibition game against Ottawa on Nov. 1, and three ECAC Hockey playoff tickets.

Fans who can’t commit to a full season’s worth of games but want to guarantee they’ll have a seat for the Cornell game can purchase The Hat Trick package. For $40, fans who purchase The Hat Trick will receive tickets to the Cornell, Dartmouth, and Harvard games in mid-November. Buying season tickets or The Hat Trick is the ONLY guaranteed way to see the Cornell game in person.

Single-game tickets will be available for purchase starting October 2. Reserved chairback seats may be purchased for $12, while seats in “Raider Nation”, if available, may be purchased for $6. General admission seats cost $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

Raider Family Packs may be purchased for home games in October, January or February. For $35, each pack includes four general admission tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, and a game program. Raider Family Packs must be reserved in advance by calling or visiting the Colgate ticket office.

Fans can order their season tickets by calling the Colgate ticket office at (315) 228-7600. They can also fill out the order form in the ticket brochure, and fax or mail it to the ticket office.
